Vanderbilts is a screening tool for ADHD, but it doesn't help you understand your child's strengths and challenges. It is like comparing apples to oranges.

Then we wonder why we as a nation are facing an Opioid crises. We are over medicated as a society, and self soothing via medication becomes the norm at such an early age, because of parents like the OP, who insists something must be wrong with their child, and only medication can fix it. This has to stop.


I am the one who posted and said we were in the middle of testing. We have no intention of putting our child on medication. What we wanted was to get suggestions on to best help our child be successful in school.

Fx doesn’t always mean meds - it might justness lead to a better understand of how the child learns best and different ways in which we can help them learn. Read up before you post blanket statements.
