What about meetup.com? I also went to 3 different library storytimes, a la leche league group, and a music together group. I met friends through all of these. Also, I wouldn't worry too much about not meeting friends before age 1 - in my experience, first time moms are always looking to meet other moms. Just get out there.

It is not nearby to my area. The church in my area is First Baptist Church of Alexandria and they are full.

MOPs at Columbia Baptist on Tuesday nights said they are full? It’s mostly working moms, so maybe not quite what you’re looking for. I’m not sure about the daytime group.
