Seeking suggestions on where to donate a 2001 Volvo sedan with 125,000 miles needing some repairs. It drives fine, has fairly new brakes and tires, but will need some help to stay on the road, starting with some issue making the "check engine" light stay on. Would Vehicles for Change take this on? Any thoughts about Melwood?
In the alternative, do you think Carmax would give us even a small amount of cash for this car?

Anonymous wrote:Definitely check out who you give it to. Last year we donated a 2002 Volvo S80 T6 that had impeccable maintenance on it--drove without any issues still. They supposedly couldn't sell it and gave us $500 for the deduction. A little hard to believe.
