Here you go - the packages include a fecal test and deworming too. It’s a fantastic deal. I certainly wouldn’t go there for anything other than a simple issue (that’s all they are designed for anyway) but I’m so happy I found it. I’m going to take my cats there their annual too.

Yes banfield is a horror. There is a big turnover in the vets I have seen at alexandria and springfield. The hours completely suck since they close at 6. Due to the high turnover usually only 1 vet is available and no walkins allowed anymore. This are is over populated so you have a small chance of not being seen for weeks by your preferred vet. Also the new vets dont have a clue what to do but suggest expensive treatments with no result. Switched to a private vet after they wouldnt help my very ill family member and havent looked back at that horror house!

You only need Bordetella and Canine Influenza if you are planning to board your dog or do doggie day care. Those are totally optional.

That does sound interesting. Is there anything about it that you haven't liked, compared to what other vets offer?


No I've been very happy with it and have used it for about 9 years. I have one pet with bad back issues and I have been especially pleased with my vet's awareness of my budget in giving me options and referrals and minimizing cost in treating. There is one vet that I do not care for and after I requested not to see him again, it has not been any problem.

I have heard the same thing, but I called when one of my cats passed away and had no problem not only cancelling that plan, but they refunded me for part of the previous month.
