OP here: We are only ordering 20 cards and sending them to family and close friends. Definitely were not planning on sending them out to acquaintances or people we barely see or talk to. This is just for close family (parents, grandparents, aunts/uncles) and then close friends/close family friends.
Actually, I would counsel that you should send them out to everyone, not just close friends and family. I don't even know you but I would love to get a card as you've described.
