back to work. I am worried about her getting to the cabinets and eating something she shouldn’t. It is two weeks ago so I am going to work on her crate training intensely over the next couple weeks.
Don't crate her after the surgery. It will be very uncomfortable.
If you're taking the day off, take it off. Find a friend or a pet sitter if you can't.
You realize she is suppose to be on limited activity for 10-14 days. Day 1 isn’t the issue...
That is a crazy long time. Usually it's a couple of days.

Now, she stays out and has access to the kitchen and living room (one big space). The first few weeks were rough but knock on wood - this week she is digging the potty pads and not chewing shoes.
I might see about getting her a sitter on rover. No way I can afford to board her two weeks at the vet.

Keep her quiet the day of the surgery.
