I think the domestic car companies are more forgiving with credit apps. I think it takes a serious lack of sophistication and/or Midwest roots if you buy a Tahoe over this.

This is actually something I noticed while traveling this weekend. (Was visiting family in the Rockford, IL area). I noticed around there you see way more domestic cars - Ford Taurus/Fusion/Escape/Edge, Buick Encalve, Chevy Malibu/Equinox/Impala/Traverse, GMC Acadia, Chrysler Town and Country/Dodge Caravan (probably more that I’m forgetting) are some of the vehicles I remember seeing en masse that I just don’t see super often around here. It’s more likely to be an Odyssey or Sienna for minivans, Highlander or Pilot for the midsize SUV, Forester/CRV/Rav 4 for the small SUVs, etc. around here. It’s interesting. And it’s not like there’s THAT much of a cost difference between say, an Impala and Accord...it’s just geographical preference I guess.
