Yeah, to answer the OP's confusion, the "panty" in pantyhose doesn't preclude wearing underwear, but does make comando an option.

The hygiene products were recommended by a doctor. Slips have nothing to do with this issue.

Umm, there was no need to mention it to people who can manage their own medical issues, or bring up slips in the same breath.
