If he's too busy for one few hour date, then what is really going on and how would he handle a long term relationship? I think he's married or dating someone else.

There's a term for this, and my advice is, cut him off, cut your losses, and move on to the next one. I wasted a month with a guy like this, and it wasn't worth it at all.

That's the problem. There is no "this" to be going anywhere. For his own reasons he hasn't asked her for a second date so "this" never even got started. But he still wants to text? She needs to value herself and her time better than to be available to answer those texts, as if she's just waiting for him to decide she is the best choice some day.

there is no "this" yet. asking about where this is going while you barely met sounds desperate. don't ask him anything, just do a fade.

OP here. Thank you for all the replies. Definitely not waiting around for him to text me. I generally know when it is time to move on, but this one confused me a bit. Disappointing, but so it goes sometimes.

If a guy really likes you, he will find time to reach out to you. I am sure he could have found some time over the past two weeks to see you. I agree with the pp that said he is seeing someone else but keeping you on the back burner. OP, you need to move on. If you think there might be a chance , leave the ball in his court and keep yourself busy. I don't think I would wait around and see if he texts. At this point I would be annoyed and would not respond to casual text that don't have an invitation to go out.
