My dog is a member of my family, too. She doesn't go to the grocery store, restaurants, Home Depot, etc. She isn't even allowed in our kitchen when I'm preparing food.

Well, many of those places are illegal to take dogs, like inside restaurants, on playgrounds, and where food is being prepared. I assume you're ready to "deal" with the fines.
