Subject: Income levels for VPI or Montessori in APS (2/3 spot for low income)
DP Montessori parent here just to clarify - Montessori requires tuition for the 3 yo year and the 4 yo year. It is free starting in K.
We're at Drew and happy with it. I don't have anything to compare to though.

APS montessori has very strict potty training rqmts.
Even as low income you may not get a montessori spot (we didn't- although we were offered spots off the waitlist). VPI typically admits nearly everyone who applies on time.
Thank you very much for this information. DS is potty trained, recently turned 3. Do you have any insight on the different montessori programs? I'm zoned for Drew, Discovery, Hoffman-Boston, Jamestown.
