I’m sure he is against it. They probably don’t have much of a relationship anymore if I have to guess. Everyone says he and Mila are good people. I met him once (Ashton) and he was incredibly kind- was shocked how nice he was.

This is such good news. The way Scientology covered for him and had the police in their back pocket is nauseating. This is good news not just because there is so much evidence that he's assaulted these women but that maybe Scientology is losing its influence.

I was unaware that Danny Masterson is a Scientologist. I grew up in a different very secretive international cult in which there was a lot of child abuse (including sexual abuse). All matters were resolved within the community, and it was against the rules to take internal matters to the police. Some situations did end up in court but only because ex members and relatives of members initiated the process. I have seen how almost impossible it can be to bring members of such secretive cults to justice, so it's not hard to believe that Scientology squashed the allegations and silenced the accusers.
I believe I grew up in the same cult as you, OP. Dealing with such matters internally sometimes meant not dealing with them at all and sometimes meant the loss of some privileges for a period of time. Occasionally, someone would get asked to leave the group, but they were often allowed to rejoin at a later time.

She was probably forced to by Scientology because no one is allowed to read or hear outside information about Scientology.
I bet they thought people were going to start bad mouthing her about Scientology in the comments and the leaders didn’t want to expose her to any negative coverage
