The entire ride home and much of the rest of the day, he kept repeating, "Scared! Wolf!"

This cracks me up! Insisting on going back to see something that scares her then cowering behind me in fear when we do is totally something my toddler DC would do, as is repeatedly voicing her reaction to said scary thing for the rest of the day (or week...or month...).

My three year old was saying "You be appropriate! You be appropriate!" today. I must have told her that something wasn't appropriate.

My toddler just started using the words "probably" and "actually".

Last night's conversation:
"What's your favorite animal?"
"Prolly... a dog. Actually, no, a minion!"

When my son was 2 years old, he started calling his pajamas broken (2 piece) and fixed (footie). Now that's what we call them.

My 3 year old insisted that he wanted privacy in the bathroom. So he closed the door with everyone in the family inside (dad and little brother were doing bath time.) Not sure who the privacy was from...

My 2 year old loves taking two markers lately switching the caps so they’re on the wrong color. Then he laughs hysterically. He thinks he’s such a sneaky trickster.

Not quite a toddler but my preschooler. He stated this morning he wanted to get a pet bat. I told him that bats like lots of space to fly and our house is too small. He replied that if the bat wanted to fly he would take him on a plane to India.

Ours just started doing the same! It was so funny until I realized where he got it from.

I tend to say "for crying out loud" when I'm exasperated. Lately when my 3 year old gets frustrated, he exclaims, "I'm crying out loud over here!"

I think they must be reading it at daycare and learning some moves, because I've never showed her that!

Cute!

We were driving in the car jamming to Pandora Toddler Radio (lol). "The Italy Bitsy Spider" came on, and I saw DS's little hands doing all the movements in the back seat. I've never sung that with him, so I guess he got it from school. I love seeing what he learns from other people.

We've been on a kids sports movie kick recently, and we have watched The Sandlot about a million times. Now my 3 year old has taken to saying "you're killing me Mama!" whenever I don't respond the way he thinks I should. I crack up every time.
