What does this prove? Nothing except that they are both soulless scum willing to take a paycheck from an industry that lied about what they knew about cancer for decades, manipulated nicotine levels to keep people addicted, and used cartoons to market their product specifically to children.
Both Manafort and Gillespie knew all of that, and said, "Yes please, show me the money".

FWIW, Mount Vernon Circle in has a lot of homes. It is a long street with a bunch of courts/pipestems with 4-5 houses off the main road.

How does this disqualify Gillespie?
Asked as someone pulling the lever for Northam next week. I don't want Gillespie to be governor for a whole host of policy reasons, but I don't think he's got some connection to the Trump collusion with Russia mess.
Is Gillespie going to denounce the guilt by association used against Dems? Against HRC in particular? He who seeks equity must do equity. If Ed is such a nice guy, who dislikes guilt by association, why is he using opposition to local autonomy on policing to smear people as "MS 13 supporters"?? Compared to what I see on his ads, connecting him to Manafort seems quite mild.
Has he expressed his support of the Mueller investigation? Has he warned Trump he would denounce him if Mueller is fired? Has he made clear to Virginia Republicans that this is not fake news, but an important issue for all Americans?
