But sometimes a stretch fabric will do the trick. This is the last bra I purchased and it is about as close to unpadded as I could find in an everyday bra, but really it's the power mesh layer I bought it for:

I just remember underwire bras like this actually work quite well for up to maybe C cup and are very good at smoothing without padding. But there's nothing remotely like this today.
