Because they do a good job of teaching young men.

It is a very good school. Son enjoys summer camps there. He decided to apply elsewhere and enrolled at a Jesuit school. Be prepared for lots of trolls from the left/woke crowd. I would have been fully supportive if he elected it as his one and only transfer application.

(Imagine, for a moment, that it was 6 Methodist or Jewish or Muslim). 5 of the 6 are affiliated in some way or outright members of Opus Dei (membership is not public, though they are not supposed to lie if asked directly.) Leonard Leo, head of the Federalist Society that has advised the Republican Party on judges, is a member, as is Bill Barr, Steve Bannon and more. J.D. Vance was featured on the cover of their magazine when he became Catholic and his stated views are certainly in line with Opus Dei.

I am wondering if high school students are allowed to type up their papers/essay or do they have to write them by hand (since technology is so evil)

We are considering this school for our DS. I don't like how there are a lot of drugs and drinking in area schools and this one seems to be safer option. We are also fairly conservative Catholics. I do get odd feeling about some things, and their anti-technology position bothers me..

I remember when we went to the Open house the director said that technology like phones, laptops etc was evil and some other crazy stuff.
The place is run like a sect similar to any other Opus Dei facility in the world. Neddless to say we run away from that place as fast as we could.
