It said if the progesterone level is too high and lingering from the ivf cycle, it seemed to prevent implantation. If the level was normal, the success of fresh vs frozen was the same. So, that's interesting and PP's doc did the right thing by doing blood work. I am hoping the doc would check my blood before I did a fresh. If it was out of whack, I would wait, like the PP did.
I believe my doc will only transfer 5 day blasts and won't freeze anything prior to 5 days, but I'll double check once I start stimming. I will definitely do PGS if I have any frosties, but I'm going to give it a shot with the fresh. Now, I just need to get my damn period! It is nowhere in sight. My doc started me on Provera on Monday, so hopefully that will help.
I think this is SG's new policy. Or, new within the last two years or so. I've been told that only in extenuating circumstances now will they consider doing a 3dt and they won't freeze anything before 5 days.
