I'm a 52 year old male. Outside of birthdays, I talk to my 3 brothers 2-3 times per year on phone, see each 3-4 times per year, and text about 6-8 times per year. Whole family gets together about once a year.

Same with me. Brother in Boston I talk to pretty often - we FB chat and gchat almost every day in addition to texting and chatting on the phone every once in a while. I see him maybe half a dozen times per year. Wish I got to see my family more!

3 siblings. We rarely speak by phone, but instead text for quick questions, email for big life updates, photos of the kids, etc. That's maybe every other month?
I'm also the only one living out on this side of the country and I try to make it back to the West coast twice a year, so I see them then. They've all visited me at some point, but it's understandably a hassle for them and it's never convenient. Whereas I can see all/most of my extended family in one visit, so I'm the one making the trek 90% of the time.

I am 35 and sis is 33. We speak/text daily. DH and his younger brother text/email daily, talk via skype/other app (he lives abroad) 2-3 times per week.

I talk to my sister at least once a week, often more, and we text several times a week. We see each other 2-3x per year. She lives across the country. That’s the main reason we don’t talk on the phone more. Time zone difference is tough and we both have kids so it can be challenging to connect.

I have six siblings and we have a continuous text chain that has someone sharing something daily.
I talk to my sisters daily. Maybe not all in the same day. But at least one/day unless someone is on vacation or sick.
One brother I talk to every couple of weeks (outside the text chain). The other brother, I used to talk to weekly, but then he had his first baby on top.of opening a business, so I have not talked to him in months outside texting. When baby starts sleeping regularly, I am sure we will talk more.
My husband has one sibling and they usually talk once or twice per year. The past few months they have been talking regularly since my MIL has had to go into a home. But that is unusual for them.

I'm 32, sister is 30. We don't talk. We see each other at Christmas at Mom's if our flights happen to overlap. This year there will be 48 hours where we are all at the house.
No animosity, just completely separate lives. We were never close growing up either.

42. I have 3 siblings & talk to my sister every day, my brothers maybe once a month.
DH has 4 sisters (big age range-15 year’s oldest to youngest) and talks to probably at least one of them a day-every other day on average.

My sister and I talk almost everyday. My DH talks with his three siblings several times a year- usually in clusters.

My brother and I only text maybe 1-3 times per month but we visit at least once every other month for a weekend (partially driven by the fact that my parents are there too).
We also do occasional vacations together.

I personally think my brothers are a$$holes. They have no time for family. It's pathetic. It is weird you don't talk to your family.
I have had to create a family from my friends and I talk with them multiple times per week.
I love my nieces and nephews and have them over a few times a year. Now that they are adults I am creating abrelationship with them that does not involve my brothers.

My sister and I text daily (or almost daily) and speak 2-3 a week. My brother and I speak or text a couple of times a month. My sister and I are close in age whereas my brother is only 25. We all live on opposite ends of the country and see each other about once or twice a year.

I have a sister a year younger than me who lives across the country. She'll text me 2-3 times a year. I'll see her once a year when we all get together for a holiday with our parents.
