Here's the marriage+ kids test: Ask potential husband to define and describe the word "parent" as both a noun and a verb.

If the answer is half-assed and his role in it = No Kids OR No Marriage. But only pick one.

If his answer is thoughtful and convincing = Marriage+Kids

Feel free to have one kid without a husband in the picture. Much easier and bypasses the deadweight.

everything is peachy until kid number 2. just do 1 kid. unless your spouse is very very involved and does not need constant directions in order to know what needs to be done in his very own house or with his very own children.
