The 'job' itself wouldn't bother me quite as much as living with his mother, he is a hoarder, and can't drive only because he hasn't felt like learning. He sounds like a middle school kid with a hobby, not an adult. If he made a ton of money and lived in a nice, clean place, and had a college degree to fall back on and could buy his own health insurance, sure. But no way would I date someone with all the details you described.

I'm dating too so I get what you mean when they seem nice or you click at first. The guy I was recently talking with was four years younger than me, but has nothing other than a decent job. I own my house and car free and clear and have a large amount of other assets that I've worked hard for. So it didn't work. You sound dedicated and career and future minded and he's not like that. It's not snobby to spot that for what it is. So continue not judging him for what works for him, but as it doesn't mesh with your path, move on.

I would want a family and a fairly conventional lifestyle, so I'd say he would not be a good potential partner for me.
