Honestly, the reason there are so many unhappy divorcees is that they make these decisions at the drop of a hat. They don't stop to think what the consequences are, for their finances, their kids, and most of all, their logistics.
I would have been surprised he didn't take at least a month or two. But then, despite many downs (and a couple of ups), my husband and I are still married. We know what would happen if we decided to divorce.
