You correctly state that FCV sucked it up except for one weekend. But ...
Spirit VA (w/o VDA results): 0 for 6, outscored 27 to 2
Spirit MD (w/o Classics): 1 for 8, outscored 31-6
These results, along with VDA's dismal performance, just shows that US Soccer put too many DAs in the DMV.
Aww, who's butt hurt now? Tell me, when Loudoun and FCV merged and built this monster and your kid was awarded the golden ticket did you really think that as a club your only wins would be against a Spirit team? Did you really think your kids would score 3 goals and give up 18 and be swept as club by two other clubs at this point?
Do you really think ANY Spirit parent felt that their teams were going to set the world on fire? Spirit is completely new, what's FCV's excuse?

What about all the NT players that Spirit put press releases out about? They aren't lighting up the scoreboard?

Thanks for the grins!
What was humble about?:
"In four games against PDA Saturday, Spirit-Virginia DA was outscored 17-0.
In the four games against FC Virginia yesterday, Spirt-Maryland DA was outscored 20-1.
Draw your own conclusions "

By your logic, the only time results should posted is if there was a tie; otherwise, you always "bashing" the team that lost. That's just an asinine position. Given the age of the players involved and the level they're playing out, anybody should be able to post the results of the DA (and ECNL) games without fear that some overly-sensitive parent is going to get pissed off when it's made public that the team they've built their ego around got beat.
If anyone is too much of a soccer snowflake to handle the reposting of soccer scores on this website (when they're already posted on the league's website), then maybe a life involving competitive sports is not the right choice for your family.
What was the point of the post? Was it to praise? Was it to answer a question that somebody asked?
FCV as a club is currently 4-8. Is this really where anyone thought that the combined forces of FCV and mighty Loudoun would be right now?
The point was to defend your right, and everyone else's right to say that FCV is 4-8. And that Spirit-Va is 2-6-2; and that Spirit-MD is 3-8-1; and that VDA is 0-8-4. Posting facts, even if unimpressive, should not be characterized as "bashing."
Perhaps if the above was the original post the point would be valid.
BS. There's no rule that if someone wants to post the game results of one club, that they have to post the results of every other club that played the same weekend. Again, if you get too triggered when someone posts the scores of your kid's loss, then either get a therapist or stop your kid from playing a sport where they keep score.
And unlike the butthurt Spirit parent who lied about how FCV performed and became obsessive about finding about who was the poster's kid, no FCV parent complained when their poor performance against Penn Fusion was reported on this board.
