I love cashew milk, it's so creamy and seems like it has more body than almond milk. Almond milk is too watery for me.

Almond milk

Soy is very bland and coconut milk has a funny aftertaste. Almond milk is delicious.

I prefer soy milk to almond milk. They also have soy milk creamer and coconut milk creamer. I love the taste of coconut in my coffee! Earth's balance is a good butter substitute.

No OP, but heavy cream is still milk.

Usually, babies and children have problems with the proteins in milk. Sometimes it is the lactose. Heavy cream has very little protein or lactose. That's why I asked.

Heavy cream isn't milk, but it is dairy.

When you're talking about breast milk, it is never the lactose. A breastfeeding infant who cannot tolerate lactose would actually be quite sick and not be able to gain weight. It's extremely rare.

Im curious tho OP, why do you need milk for french toast?
When I make it I just use an egg and dip the bread in, then fry in a pan. I dont use milk.

Then you're doing it wrong. French toast is specifically bread soaked in a mixture of egg and milk, so that it turns into custard when it's cooked. I have made French toast with almond milk and it's okay. It will never be as great as the real milk version but I became quite allergic so all dairy is off the list for me.
