Yet, you, in your specialness, you think, "Hey, it's 8:00/9:00, let me go get my bikey wikey and ride down one of the busiest streets I can find. If you have time to ride at this hour, then obviously, you don't have to be at work at that hour like the rest of us do! Just go another time.
Maybe they're commuting by bike to work. Do you have a better suggestion for where one should bike to get where they're going? Maybe you should advocate with the city for separated bike lanes in your area.
Aww, that's cute, you think they'd use them. I can't tell you how many times I've driven through DC where there's a beautiful bike lane, a car lane, and a parking lane and a biker or two biking in car lane, happily letting people pass around him and nearly get into accidents.

I'd either get a car like everyone else, or take a bus. But it's idiotic to risk your life (it it really IS that dangerous) just to get to work.
You can't tell me a bike is the ONLY option these people have. No one believes that.
Therefore it's a choice. And they are CHOOSING to risk their life to get to ....... their desk at work.
That's just F'ing stupid.
If I'm gonna risk my life, it'll be to save my kids or my wife. Not for getting to my job.

Duh.
They ARE NOT commuting to work. They are in biker gear and not carrying anything else but water on them. They are kicking it in my lane and its annoying.

It's pretty stupid of you to drive to work. So you know you're risking your life/health every time you do it? You should get a job where you telework only otherwise you don't love your wife and kids.
Are you seriously debating the relative safety of driving vs biking on River Road?
