Fixed it for you.
Mariah still can't make it through a full show. You sound so bitter, bb.

This. She's not exceptionally talented or even offering a unique sound.
You and the pp who call Taylor Swift "untalented" sound very jealous. Let's see how many songs you have written and preformed for thousands of people. You don't have to like her to acknowledge that she is talented and very sucessful.
NP You seem bizarrely invested in her life , not everyone has to like her . Her music is gimmicky and lacks depth , its pop after all . To pretend that she's doing groundbreaking music is foolish at best and reeks of desperation at worst . Newsflash : Mariah Carey holds the record as the best selling female artist of all time, I bet you didn't know that , did ya ?
The race-based Taylor swift worship amongst some of you is so transparently obvious it's laughable . But behold your idol is like what now ? 27? By all means let her keep singing those immature songs by the time she's 30 and let's see how much of a 'global' star she remains
Hmmm I am the pp you quoted. In what way does my answer suggest that I am bizarrely invested in her life? The question was asked and I gave my opinion. I am not a groupie and I have never gone to one of her shows. I am merely stating the obvious. She is successful whether or not you like her. She writes her music and performs it in front of world wide audiences. Her music sells and is played on the radio.
If you want to talk about Mariah Carey than start a new thread.
At this point I think you may be mentally unstable . I brought up Mariah Carey as an example to say Taylor swift isn't a groundbreaking artist in any way . There is literally nothing that she's currently doing that hasn't been done on a grander scale by someone else . Hence the Mariah Carey example , got it ?

I do also think the fact she is skinny and blond helps
She is skinny and blonde but not that pretty. Her success is in her talent, intelligence and belief in herself.

She is not "exceptionally" talented. We will not collectively be talking about her five years from now. She will not go down as an innovator or some rare jewel in the history of music. She has done nothing earth shattering or groundbreaking or innovative or even especially creative. I don't have to write music or perform in front of audiences to see that.
