Umm, but we don't always get pregnant. I didn't. And it's a bitter pill to swallow when you've gained weight from hormones and because you've been told not to exercise right after a transfer (or like me who went through acupuncture and was told exercising for weeks BEFORE the transfer could mess with
hormones so didn't do it). If you're pregnant on the first try, no biggie but for those who went through multiple cycles with/without transfers, gaining weight is adding insult to injury. If I was a fat pregnant woman, I wouldn't care and would be happy as a lark. But I am not.
