OP, I met my DH on a dating website. We had been messaging back and forth for 3 days, I gave him my number and we started texting. I was a grad student and hit my mid-program point and wanted to celebrate, so I asked him if we could go out (day 5 of communicating). We went, it was great, and 3 years later we were married. Who knows when he would have asked me out if I hadn't done it.

Um, he's calling her daily. That is interest. Maybe he's insecure because he always initiates. Calls are more intimate than texts. When he calls tomorrow, ask what he's doing this weekend or when you can see him again. It's not hard.

He may think you are not interested in HIM due to your lack of initiative in contacting him.

It really is okay.
Call him tomorrow & ask him out to dinner.
Or a cup of coffee.
Or to attend a concert, art show or play.

It shouldn't be all on him to get the ball rolling.

If he declines, then you will have your answer.
