She was 26 when they were engaged and she waited a year to plan the wedding.

East Asian skin doesn't age well. It's the only skin thinner than Caucasian. It's why South Korea has the best skin care products.

I'm not as horrified as everyone else. He seems to dote on her. She will probably never lift s finger at home and can focus on her career. They sound ambivalent about kids. Viagra makes his age less relevant in bed.

Only 1% of the population marries with more than a 20 year age gap. Yes, the cost of living is high in NYC, LA, DC, and SF, but really ladies, earn the easy way and get a job.

Um, anyone else cringe that he fell in love with her after she basically performed a tea ceremony for him?

I'm in my early 40s and I'm Involved with a guy who is in his late 60s. So not as much of a difference as this couple but still more than 25 years. He's smart, thoughtful, attractive, and he appreciates me.

A 35 YO GF of mine got engaged to a 66 year old guy and we were all stunned. We were like why? It turned out it had nothing to do with money it was simply that she said he was a great guy and unbelievable in bed and didn't need meds to do it. They ultimately didn't get married but we never did get her to reveal his secret. So maybe this 72 year old guy is better in bed than a 32 year old guy.

This. When she started mentioning the way her peers date and "hook up" I totally got why she liked this guy

You know I read the article expecting to scoff but in reading it, she may be an "old soul" and appreciates gallantry, good manners, and maybe has Daddy issues? Whose to say, but in reading it, it sounded like maybe just maybe there's more to it than $$

Not if you zoom in. They were taken from far enough away that he doesn't look bad.

Jaime Colby is 46 or so...old enough to be the new brides mother. This guy must have a big wallet and a big bag of viagra.

But she stands to inherit a NYC penthouse plus an additional apartment in the building along with two vacation properties. He didn't have kids (with her or with his ex), so she will get everything. Millions. Once she married him, she quit her job and has spent the last couple decades traveling the world (sometimes with him, but mostly on her own with her friends). She's still relatively young. I'd say she's had a great life.

Yes, it's the Gold Digger's Worst Nightmare. He Lived.
