I think you will need the Xbox Live account then.


Costco has discounted Xbox live gift cards if you go that route.

Star Wars Battlefront is a starter game or a step up from lego games for most of the 7-9 year olds in our neighborhood full of boys.

Most of the 11-12 year olds are playing games like Destiny or Overwatch.

Battlefront will be very mild for his peer group but not so babyish that other kids won't want to play it.
