The tent wasn't for group use. If it was, others in the group should have offered to set it up, take it down, carry it, etc.

Well, it's a slippery slope and we've been there with other people, so I'm wondering if I should step in here. I think I'll just let him do whatever, but not go with his plan to pick up food for everyone. They have legs, plus an au pair.

Do you really control your partner like this all the time? There's no way this relationship will last. I predict next summer the group will be enjoying time with his new girlfriend.
