Its probably a very cool family but I have so many questions.
They probably think it's better than being an orphan in a poor nation. I'm no fan of hers, but there are parents in the DMV with one kid that the au pairs are raising. You don't see the parents at BTSN, soccer games, or sleepovers because they are chasing the almighty dollar. The nannies are taking kids to dental appointments and tucking them in at night.
Maybe they send their nannies to pick up because they don't want to chat with you.
I don't teach ES so why would they be chatting with me?
