I think he's going to resign. But, I also think Mr. Art of the Deal is going to negotiate the best exit package possible. Pardons, etc. But also, ongoing SS protection for his kids, government payment for use of his properties to protect him, etc. At Camp David, there is no media to see who shows up.
I am also beginning to think he knew exactly what he did Tuesday, and did it to leverage Pence and the GOP for the best possible deal.
FWIW, my CNN scroll says Corker just followed Graham and McCain in slamming Trump personally. It's end times.
Pence isn't leaving, because Trump can't fire Pence. He can only be impeached. At this point, it would probably help Pence to refuse to resign if asked.
Next focus on Pence. Lie. Next comes Ryan. Continue until you find someone you can deal with, i.e. BRING BACK HILLARY.
Reality? Trump has a rally coming up in Phoenix.
And no matter how far you go, it's unlikely to get past Hatch. There is a line of succession, and its all red. Nobody is seriously thinking HRC would replace Trump.
Unless Rs dick around too long and lose the House. In which case, say hello to President Pelosi. Which the Rs will completely deserve, for trying t hang on with Trump until Fall 2018.
Does he? The mayor Phoenix asked him to cancel.

The people of Phoenix don't want him there.
And no one wants to bring "Hillary back" although I know that is what Fox keeps telling you. Loathing trump is an issue unto itself and praying that trump resigns for the sake of our country is much bigger than Republican/Democratic politics. However - yes - if Pence and Ryan were complicit in involving a foreign government in our election - I want them out too.

Oh, I am hateful, and not the pretend President who has utterly given up the mantle of moral leadership and provided aid and comfort to terrorist white-nationalist Nazis? Seek mental help.
Aid and comfort? Where and how? Has he provided aid and comfort to MS13 as well because that is a bigger concern than white nationalists to me and I am a latina.

Anonymous wrote:Assuming Trump does not start WWIII, which is entirely possible, I want that loon in office until right before 2018 midterms. Having Trump as president is the best chance for moderate Republicans and Democrats to gain congressional seats.
Unfortunately, the ultra-conservatives probably understand this, too. They need to get Trump out of office, install Pence (onerous but not crazy), restore relative normalcy, and proceed with their destruction of everything from the environment to what's left of the middle class and healthcare. Not having Trump in office takes the wind out of some key sails. Nobody will mobilize the opposition like Trump. He is a huge liability at this point. He's also a lunatic, so some of these people in power may be genuinely afraid.
Mueller is needed here. I want Trump to leave in disgrace, but I want him to take Pence and Ryan with him - summer 2018.
Anonymous wrote:I highly doubt Trump would resign. The ONLY reason I could see in his mind would be if he was just tired of being president, and having to deal with answer for people who dislike him. Every day there is dislike for him in the media and elsewhere (rightfully). Maybe then his ego cant handle that accumulation of people speaking out against him, so he may just think to himself that he'd rather go back to living at Trump Tower and eating his taco bowls and running his business.
Otherwise he is too self-absorbed and truly, pathologically, malignantly narcissistic that I do not think he has or will ever have the inclination to resign. In his mind I highly suspect that his resignation, under ANY circumstances, is a big whopping LOSS for him in this 'game'. He's not going to bring that kind of loss on himself, he's gonna make other people take him out and go down swinging.
