I buy from online uniform suppliers. Basic colors in durable quality. Cords from gap and sweaters and coats from consignment stores.

I bet the pp found something...2 years go. All talbot's kids stuff is now at least 7 years old.

check online at swap.com...lots of Talbot's Kids, new, with tags still on...just bought a winter coat for my grandson...Talbot's, $18.00, never worn...check e-bay as well.

Classic, not garish at all, very good quality (though I find that their cottons are so soft as to be too thin sometimes).

Petit Bateau is perhaps the Frenchie equivalent, but less trendy than Crew Cuts, very solid basics, if you can find them.

Ralph Lauren occcasionally has something stunning.


Love Crew Cuts and they have great sales. Agree about the thin cotton though.

I now am able to hunt for some items on Ebay. I purchased Talbot's items for my children when they where young. Now I still enjoy purchasing
items for my grandchildren. I love the quality of the 100% cotton items they carried. Also the boy's 100% silk ties.
