Yes--mostly running because it requires the least amount of "gear."

I recently went on a trip to Italy and ran 4-5 miles each morning.

One night travel trip - no. Two or more, yes. I like to work out late afternoon as it takes me a long time to cool down in the morning.

Jesus, this obsession with protein. Grab a handful of seeds and eat some beans with your meal. That's all you need.

I always work out on travel, for work or fun. For work travel, working out helps my sleep. I'm not going to kid myself that burning 400 calories on a run will combat the 2000 calorie client dinner, so I also try to make good diet choices without making a big deal out of it. Vacation is a time when I actually have more time, so I do a good stretch every day and take longer runs . . . and then a nap.

5:55 - I am not a bodybuilder, but I mix protein powder with milk for my post-workout/run snack. It's good for recovery and muscle-building. Protein is important, and the rest of my meals don't always include enough of it to support my lifting and the other activity I do. I eat normal meals otherwise.

You have a food problem if you are consuming protein powder. Male or female. Exercise for actual health, not for a fake magazine body.

I use protein powder and I'm not a bodybuilder, the rest of my diet just isn't very rich in protein. Get a clue, psycho.

Yes. I won't necessarily seek out a gym, but I'll hike, or walk LOTS (like 10-15 miles), maybe do some crunches or planks if I feel like it. So I'll adjust my workout, but I still make sure I'm active and moving.

I usually run on vacation, if we are somewhere without the kids I will do a class, usually. Exceptions would be when we are away skiing, thats enough of a workout for me! Exercise has been a part of my life since I was a kid ~ its as much for my mental health as it is for my physical health.

I do when I travel for work (which is rare) but not when I am on vacation. But my vacations are pretty active (skiing, biking, kayaking) so I wouldn't necessarily want to combine that with my typical 5 mile morning run because I'd be too exhausted to deal with my kids.

If I was just sitting on the beach all day, every day, I'd probably try to sneak in a morning run.
