I've unfriended and then blocked some people because I don't want them to have any access to my FB page. I don't wish them any harm or even harbor any bad feelings, I just don't want them snooping around my already minimal page (and there are 'women in my child's class' who do just that, probably because they have nothing better to do). And my FB 'friends' are my real-life friends only, they are people who I maintain real, offline, relationships with, and whose company I truly enjoy.
Mindlessly collecting strangers as 'friends' on Facebook and getting upset if they are not complying is a sign of tremendous insecurity, IMHO.

I am not on social media for this reason. There are school moms who think they have some right to know everything about anyone, but IRL, they only know what they Google. I suspect they are not very smart - not my problem!
