Hair is shorter these days so I don't typically blowdry it, but I've had a Solia hair dryer for nearly 10 years and it is awesome and still going strong.

I have a ton of thick wavy hair and considered the Dyson. Got the Revlon thing instead and love it.

Yes! I'm actually shocked by the amount of people on here who rave about that thing. I tried it and hated it. It hurt my arm, it was so heavy, and my hair got all tangled up in it. I will stick to my $60 Rusk hairdryer and $20 round brush.
I live the heavy Revlon thing. I have a ton of wavy fine hair and it is the only way I have been successful quickly straightening the very curly parts in the back. With a good brush and normal dryer it would take a very long time and lots of product.

so the recommended dryers i see here is T3 and rusk? are they heavy? been using a travel one cause i hate the big ones but thinking i need a better one

I'm on my 2nd T3 dryer and I swear by it. I got my first in 2005 and I think it only lasted 5 years because I travel for wrk and it got banged around a lot in my suitcase. Several friends who have been house guests have bought one after using mine. I have long, thick hair that I blow out with a round brush 3x a week.
