We are at Terra Centre and absolutely love it. Feeds into Robinson. Great neighborhood, great community.

It sounds horrible because it is horrible. Poor and/or brown families don't value education??? Yes, the poor deserve to be poor because of their poor values and you are so much better off only because of your "values". A small minded, common mind set. I hope I don't know you in person.

So ignorant and gross.

Is this an inaccurate statement?

Yeah. It is.

How so? Numbers don't lie.

And what do you think the numbers say? That OP will be "fine" only if he/she avoids being around too many poor and/or brown kids?

Overconcentration of poverty doesn't help anyone...

I would look at the neighborhoods between little river and Braddock. It will put you equal distance between Burke bee and Vienna metro. Wakefield forest and Canterbury woods are both highly rated. Little Run and Olde Creel are small with specialized programs that bring down there overall rating to 6 or 7 but are still nice schools with great staff.

Anonymous wrote:Elementary school is the level at which, despite the Great Schools ratings being different, I wouldn't stress too much. Everything in that area is good to great. Some "rate" lower, but it is driven largely by pockets of FARMS families. You will actually get lower class sizes at the Title I schools. Focus more on the long term and which middle/high school you'd be zoned for.

Not true. West Springfield HS is very close to the Rolling Rd. VRE.

If you are moving for middle schools, you want Irving.
