How could I make my amazing pot roast without pouring a cup of ketchup over it first? It's an amazing secret ingredient. It doesn't come out looking or tasting like ketchup but it does pick up the perfect amount of sweet and tangy flavor. Yum!

Ranch in and of itself reveals how awesome America is. Ketchup is pretty alright too.

There's a time and place for them.

Ketchup with a certain kind of fries, burgers, and dogs (not all kinds), hash browns, tater tots, etc. Ranch with veggie tray or certain salads / pizza / wings.

But I do judge people who put ranch on EVERYTHING. I used to wait tables and I've seen people put ranch on some weird shit. Also, for some people, there is no such thing as enough ranch.

I studied at le cordon bleu and eat ketchup with my scrambled eggs and ranch with my pizza. Oh well!

I don't like ranch myself but don't care if others do. I still love ketchup.

Ranch is good with a veggie tray. Ketchup is good with burgers and fries. Are you saying you don't ever eat either?
Now, ketchup on a fine steak or tartar sauce on an expertly prepared fish is another matter. I definitely judge that.

I rarely eat ranch but you'd have to pry ketchup out of my cold, dead hands! I use a reduced sugar version of it now but will apparently never outgrow it.

Eh, depends. Normally I wouldn't, but with a burger and fries - ketchup and mustard is the way to go.
