A 93.4 gpa has to be placed in context with difficulty of chosen classes and other peers from her school that are also applying same schools. Then throw in ECs, sports, leadership and the required essays. Also recs can be very important... especially if the same teachers/counselors are writing them for many kids.

34 is now decent?

I assumed a typo there-- "not" rather than "now"

NP. My DC goes to a local private and also gets a GPA as a number out of 100. For example, current GPA is 88.

This is but one checkbox of about 10 for admission to top 25 schools. 34 ACT gets you past the ACT/SAT check. GPA probably enough to keep you alive (but not at the top of the pile).

33 is also a very good score, but that may be a little misleading because it probablu includes legacies, recruited athletes and students with various other hooks.

34 is good enough for any school as the average for An ivy is 33.

This is a troll. OP posts "34" with no elaboration on what schools DC is applying. Useless.

it's the 99 percentile - so it's better than decent. I think t would exclude you from fewer than 10 schools. Yey by itself it's not enough as so many have said.
