I have an iPhone and google nexus. The iPhone is a work phone that was forced on me. I'm an engineer and most engineers at my work have an android.

The android with google fi network is infinitely better than the iPhone, including the camera. I judge people who "think" iPhones are the best phone.

yep..I have a group of 7 boys here right now-sleepover-all on their phones-2 samsung 5 iphone all ok something else is going on

My husband's family doesn't include me on group texts because I have Android and they all use iPhones.

My son's friends don't do this. Maybe we just don't travel in the same circles, but my son's friends just don't have access to whatever tech they want.

I think your son needs new friends. I'm sorry he will be going through a rough time.

You think it's too much to not be invited to a group chat because one has an Android phone, but admit to judging people by phones. You are the same age group mentally, if not physically, as this poster's child.

It may be a data plan issue. Texts between iphones using imessage are free, but texts to android phones may not be if you don't have a texting plan that covers them.

It was a polite way to say that he is not welcome. Many reasons for that. Can be your son, can be them. Definitely, absolutely, not the text color.
