You don't get out much, I guess?
Nah, if you get out of the DC bubble and New England, a lot of people aren't familiar with the tiny LACs because they're not a thing in most of the rest of the country -- most people are shooting for the flagship state school and are only familiar with the Ivies, the 7 sisters schools, and Stanford as the "elites". I had no idea I was supposed to be impressed by Middlebury before I moved to DC (the liberal arts colleges in my state were for people who couldn't make it into the state schools), and, even after being here for 20 years, I still haven't learned what all the "elite" LACs are. Don't need to, unlikely to send my kid to one absent some amazing financial aid and some specific program we can't fine elsewhere.
Also, Ursinus. Are you going to wear that around on a t-shirt?
Your provincialism is showing.

The safety schools of my generation have become the hot and very hard schools to get into of my kids' generation.
We'll be saying this about Ursinus within 20 years, if not sooner.
Sorry, but my DH went there 30 years ago and he doesn't think much has changed.
