However I also know he really wanted a baby and he's kind of admitted to doing it on purpose. Your friend could have also tried using the morning after pill.

I don't necessarily agree that birth control falls to the women. But control over my body falls on me. If I want to make sure I don't get pregnant and I'm having sex, I take the necessary precautions. This isn't something to rely on someone else for.
