Tons of teachers are NOT leaving Bonnie Brae. That's just not true. There is a new principal this year, and she's way better than the old principal, who was very unpopular for about the past 5 years. Both parents and teachers at Bonnie Brae were overall very happy with the new principal this year. Certainly with a new administration there is turnover, especially when the old principal regularly hired and protected bad teachers. The teacher turnover this year isn't much different than past years.

Wow. About 10 leaving every year is typical turnover here. Our principal sends out an update with departures and new hires.

Not PP- but I think it is a different thing when the administration gets cleared out than multiple teachers leaving. Like in my job- people leave bosses, not the company.

The Fairfax Villa strings teacher is retiring. He's a great teacher and will be missed.

The two well-liked Fairfax Villa 6th grade lead teachers are moving out of state to be closer to family.
