Early 40s female here. I think about it fairly often around my period and ovulation. My sex drive is definitely closely connected to my cycle. I can then go for two weeks without a single sex thought.

I agree. But if the father actually did everything the mom did, they might even out. Not chores, but the planning. Plan the grocery list, plan the birthday party, plan the weekend event, plan the vacation, stuff that actually requires thought. Keep up the calendar.

It's not biology it is situational.

Men are always ovulating (unless they just released). When you are most turned on during your cycle, that is average for a man.
