Haha totally normal! I'm at the age when everyone is getting married and this has been a topic of conversation amongst my friends. It's either been no sex or very drunken sex.

DH and I were in the drunk sex category.

No, I didn't. And we didn't really have sex ever after that. We divorced 3 years later. For my secondary marriage we went to the courthouse. Had awesome sex an hour later before hanging out with friends. Four years later we have two kids and are still going strong.

You're such a lovely person.

That's a serious problem.

His cousin didn't choose to marry a fat woman. He married a thin one. This bait and switch.

Neither of us ate anything at the wedding because we were so busy talking with guests. Got back to the hotel around 11 pm and we were STARVING. We scarfed down all the leftovers that had been sent back with us, including the cake that's supposed to get frozen or something. Then I spent an hour in the shower trying to get the 6,000 hairpins out of my hair. And all the gunk holding my hair together. And the makeup and eyelashes. Etc. Finally collapsed into bed around 2 am and had to get up at 7 am to help put together the family breakfast/brunch my parents were hosting. (Perils of getting married in your hometown.) Definitely no sex. I nearly cried from exhaustion the next morning.

Of course, 8 years later and having recently had baby #2, now I know what true exhaustion is!

We started to have sex and we were so exhausted we stopped and passed out. Still married 18 years later.

We didn't. Too tired and my damn period started that morning. Plenty of wonderful sex all week on the honeymoon.

We'd been together for 5 years and living together for 2, and my period started the morning of our wedding.

I was tired and cranky and crampy by evening and just wanted a hot bath and bed. My husband actually spent our wedding night hanging out with college buddies which yeah in hindsight was weird.

But we've been married 24 years now and through a lot of trials and tribulations and are still together so, there's that.

Did it because of important precedent to
Set. Still do it when tired and not in the mood now. Important for relationship.

We were exhausted, had sex the next day.

I hope my cousin did it with his wife on their wedding night because it was the last time she was thin. A few months later she started to gain lots and lots of weight.

We actually had a huge fight on our wedding night, partly because of the exhaustion and alcohol. So, no sex. But plenty starting the next morning, and going on 30 years now.

We were too tired. Next morning before heading to the airport for the honeymoon we joked "we should probably make this official, right?" and did it then.

Way too wiped out from the day, which started around 530 and wasn't finished until about 2 am.
