My hair is naturally kind of frizzy. I had not gotten my hair done for almost a year so I was long overdue.
I ended up getting a sitter but when I was at the salon, I was thinking that it probably would have been fine to bring the baby.
Details please. What is a straight perm and where do you go for this treatment?

OP here. It's a 2-3 hour process where you get silky straight hair at the end. i'm from ny and a lot of jewish girls also get this done.

Anonymous wrote:Hmm, my rather crunchy/organic living stylist (who is a mom herself) told me to feel free to bring my baby next time (when she will be about 3 mo) because they are super easy at that age and sleep well with the sound of the blows dryers. My thought was that I don't love breathing the fumes off my highlights so I'd rather leave the baby at home with DH but I thought it was interesting that my stylist was supportive of it.
