Shooting into/at an occupied dwelling is a crime. And it should be reported.

That's why I own a gun.

And you have a higher chance of shooting someone you know with that gun than of shooting an intruder.

I would rather be the shooter than the victim.

I'd rather be neither and i don't own a gun.

If the bullet hole is on the outside of your house, I would move. I've lived in my neighborhood for 14 years and have never heard gunfire. If it's on the inside, only you can know if someone in your house is a danger. If it's from before you moved in from a crazy previous owner, and you feel it's a safe neighborhood, then I wouldn't move.

ps- make sure the video system has night vision. You'll probably be murdered in the dark.

The dark also being where you will shoot a family member accidentally.

And you have a 100% chance of being murdered by someone trying to kill you if you don't have a gun.

Really? All non gun-owners have a 100% chance of being murdered? Can we get back up for those statistics? Hadn't read that.

I would not raise a family in a violent neighborhood, like you hear gun shots. Then yes, I would move. Assuming you can.

Sure, just hold on while I unlock my gun and then get the bullets and then load it and point it at you.
And if you don't have to do this to get your gun out, then you are probably already dead because your three year old shot you with that gun. There is no point in owning a gun unless you are a hunter or live in the country.

My home defense guns are loaded and accessible within seconds. There is nothing is this world more useless than an unloaded handgun.

So they can catch the person who shot you?

Another yuppie who thinks that the cops will be there to protect them if something happens lol.

Add people living in the ghetto to your list of people who should own a gun.

Yes. I heard gunfire in a populated residential setting (not off in the woods). There had been some alarming stuff before that. And I moved not long after that.

Finding a bullet lodged somewhere in or on my home would be way too close for comfort. I would report it to the cops.

What only fresh bullet holes are concerning?
