I am loving my Rockport Cobb Hill flats - can get them through Zappos.

I've had several pairs of FSNY (French Sole) flats and have worn them until they fell apart. They're comfortable, but not very supportive. I have large, narrow feet and high arches.

I am the PP and I have a few pairs of French Sole too! And they are comfortable.

I usually don't find anything at DSW, but a few seasons back, I found a pair of Dr. Scholl's black ballet flats that were surprisingly very comfortable and they don't have that orthopedic shoe look.

Brands that have comfortable flats with reasonable prices (under $50): Naturalizer, White Mountain, Lucky Brand, Anne Klein.

If you do want to spend $100+ on flats, buy Cole Haan ones (good deals online right now and at Nordstrom's rack).

I bought a pair because of DCUM and they are awful.

I am another fan of Payless, and I don't go there for the price (thought my top price range is $100). I have these:

and an older version of these:

I don't like their new version (the link above) but the older version has lasted me a while. TBH -I used love Payless but have found their quality has gone downhill recently.

My favorite flats are target and dr. Scholls. Have fancy, expensive flats I wear on nights out where I don't have to walk far, but the less expensive brands are more comfortable (especially the dr. Scholls. Dh makes fun of me, but they're a life saver when pregnant!)

I walked probably hundreds of miles in my J Crew Cece flats before they fell apart. I find them more comfortable than most flats because the have a small internal rise toward the heel--about an inch. In suede, they are super soft to start and don't need breaking in.

I have similar feet to yours, OP. I have some good flats by Dr Scholls, and generally for work shoes I like Naturalizer and Anne Klein. I agree with PP about looking at DSW (tho not Payless). I used to walk to and from the Metro in my work flats and I was going through multiple pairs each year due to sole wear. If you must commute in your work shoes, don't spend $150 on them.

I like my Everlane Day Flats. They're classically cut and break in well.
