Again, you are wrong. Here is a classic example of a bohemian prep:

Spot on. Boho prep's fashion moment continued into the early '80s in parts of New England and northern CA.. Ali McGraw remains a goddess to some of us.

And, yes, Virginia, there are still crunchy preps -- not quite boho - at many of the schools mentioned here -- e.g., Midd, Brown, Wes. Indeed, they're on the rise -- think of all the kids you know who wear Birks and are into resistance and sustainability. True boho preps are rarer, but do exist -- see e.g., Reed, Sarah Lawrence, and Bennington. And, of course, you'll always find a few preps of every variety at Harvard and Yale. People, despite what they're trying to sell you at Vineyard Vines, there's a wide, wide world of preppiness out there.

what?? no.

I posted earlier but I echo your comments. Bohemian prep is still alive at several NE boarding schools. In fact it never went away.

I would say Williams, Brown, maybe Duke.

Williams- too uptight
Brown- marginally
Duke- never. Faux prep at best.

I'm surprised that so many people are having trouble with this concept. That being said, I would probably say the more hipster NESCAC colleges- Bates, Wesleyan, and Conn College.
