Mid-50s divorced dad here. Did Bumble and Tinder, got lots of dates, and I am now off the apps and in a serious relationship (I met her on Bumble). If it doesn't work out with her, I have a number of backup girls I met on Bumble and Tinder I can get together with.

I lived with my girlfriend for several months before marrying. Wonderful learning experience. If I hadn't decided I enjoyed cohabitating with her, it would have been kinda stupid to marry her, ya know?


It was stupid to marry her anyway. You'll realize this when the sex inevitably dries up.

PP, sounds crazy, but my now exDH was also online dating and lying extensively about his marital status and true interests.... makes me very wary of online dating...


LOL and women neeeeeeever lie about themselves in their online profiles.

Usually, their lies start before they write a single word - i.e., with their photos.

Since these men are able to attract other women, that indicates the problem is not at their end.

I'm 40 (divorced man) and it has worked great. Have met women who to women who became serious GFs for about six months (broke up when we realized long-term marriage wouldn't work) and hookups in between.

Hinge was full of fake profiles. Tinder was ok; do suspect some were married.

All guys seem to lie about their age and they all seem to be into BDSM, across all the apps.

I married DH when I was 35 and he was 33. We lived together before getting married. He was ready.


Moved in with my 28 yo bf when I was 33. We married 3 yrs later. Been married 17 years!
